Thomas Williams currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Dr. Phillips Charities. He is primarily responsible for directing company projects and overseeing the delivery of services. Thomas is native to Central Florida and grew up next to the Packing District in College Park. Thomas graduated from Furman University with a degree in accounting and then went on to receive his master’s in business administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
Prior to joining Dr. Phillips Charities, Thomas worked for Commerce National Bank & Trust in commercial lending and in the Trust department specializing in family wealth and investments. Thomas then went on to become the CFO for Wayne Densch Inc, a leading beverage wholesaler in Central Florida. His focus was on finance, investments, management, and operations.
Thomas is an active member in the community serving as the Treasurer for the Committee of 100 of Orange County, a Board Director and member of the executive committee for the Metro Orlando YMCA, Board Director and VP of Membership for the Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council, and a Board Director for the United Arts of Central Florida. Thomas is also the Chairman of the Board for the Leonard and Marjorie Williams YMCA located in the Packing District.
Thomas and his wife Jessica have two young sons and enjoy spending time together as a family.
