
Dr. Phillips Charities Welcomes Two New Leaders to Support Its Growing Impact in Central Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. – [June 30, 2025] – Dr. Phillips Charities is proud to announce the appointment of Bob Miles as a Director of Dr. Phillips, Inc. and The Dr. Philip Phillips Foundation, and William Dymond as a newly appointed Member of both entities. These leaders bring decades of experience and deep community ties, reinforcing the organization’s enduring mission to strengthen the social fabric of Central Florida through strategic philanthropy and civic engagement.
As Dr. Phillips Charities continues to expand its impact across Central Florida, the organization remains focused on strategic investments in five core areas: education, healthcare, children and youth, social services, and arts & culture. The recent launch of the Dr. P. Phillips Legacy Microgrant Program further underscores its commitment to grassroots changemakers and community-led innovation.

Bob Miles brings more than 30 years of leadership in finance, administration, and strategic planning across sectors including healthcare, consumer products, and travel services. Most recently, he served as President of Bags, Inc., a national hospitality and travel services firm operating in more than 275 cities. He previously held key leadership roles at Orlando Health as Senior Vice President for Strategy, Business Development, and External Affairs.
Known for his expertise in family-owned, high-growth, and public companies, Bob has also served on numerous boards, including AdventHealth’s Heart, Lung, & Vascular Institute Foundation and Lift Orlando, where he is Treasurer. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Florida State University.

With over four decades of experience in real estate, hospitality, and civic leadership, William Dymond is a well-known name in both business and nonprofit circles across Florida. He currently serves as Chairman of the law firm Lowndes, where he previously held the role of President & CEO for 16 years. During his tenure, he led transformative real estate and hospitality projects across North America. His ongoing work with Visit Orlando as General Counsel and his leadership in hosting major sporting events have helped position Central Florida as a national destination.
William is a founding board member of Lift Orlando and serves as a member of the Council of 100. His extensive community involvement includes past chairmanships of Florida Citrus Sports, Space Florida, Orlando Economic Partnership, the Downtown Development Board, the CRA Advisory Board, and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.
