Eva Tukdarian

Eva Tukdarian has been dedicated to working with nonprofit entities for the past 11 years as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investment Officer, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary of Dr. Phillips Charities.  During her time at Dr. Phillips, she has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, investments, human resources, and information technology systems for Dr. Phillips Charities.  In her role, she not only ensures that the real estate and financial aspects of Dr. Phillips are invested wisely, she also reviews the financial statements of all nonprofits requesting grants and helps educate nonprofits in the areas of strengthening financial internal controls, exempt organization tax laws and technology.

An active volunteer, Tukdarian's community involvement includes being a director on the University of Central Florida Foundation board, as well as serving on its Finance and Audit Committees.  She serves on the Finance Committee of the Central Florida YMCA, is an Audit Committee Member of St. Garabed Armenian Church and is a Board Member of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce Committee of 101.  Ms. Tukdarian was honored by the West Orange Chamber with the 2016 Mary Vandeventer, ‘The Spirit of West Orange’ award.  She has previously served on the Investment Committee of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Audit Committee of Soorp Haroutin Armenian Church, mentor/instructor for Junior Achievement and raised funds for the Dr. Phillips High School football team.  She is an alumnus of the Hull Fellows for the Southeastern Council of Foundations, Leadership Orlando and is a valued resource to dozens of nonprofit organizations in the Central Florida area in her role as a financial expert in the nonprofit arena.

Prior to joining Dr. Phillips Charities in 2005, Tukdarian worked for The Walt Disney Company, as the Controller for Walt Disney Imagineering and Director of Financial Reporting.  She oversaw all financial aspects of the real estate development of the Celebration and Little Lake Bryan communities, as well as financial reporting for all theme parks and resort construction projects.  She began her career with the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in Orlando, Florida.

Tukdarian graduated with both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, with honors, and maintains membership with the Florida and American Institute of CPAs.  She and her husband Tom Tukdarian, who is a corporate and real estate attorney and a member of the West Orange Chamber, are exceptionally proud of their two grown sons Chris and Robert.
