Orlando Regional REALTOR® Foundation to celebrate construction groundbreaking for Heroes’ Commons at Jefferson Park initiative

Project in Parramore neighborhood to ultimately provide six mortgage-free homes to military veterans

WHAT: Ceremonial groundbreaking for home to be built by Beazer Homes — which is supplying construction coordination, labor, and materials to the HCJP project — and donated by the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Foundation to an Orlando military veteran.

MORE: Heroes’ Commons at Jefferson Park is project of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Foundation, the charitable arm of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association. The project is part of FREF’s “Art In Architecture” program, which collaborates with local architects, builders, lenders, housing organizations, and municipalities to create affordable housing opportunities.

Heroes’ Commons at Jefferson Park will be a small “village” of six single-family homes in the Parramore neighborhood. Homes will be provided mortgage-free to income-qualified military veterans, who will also be provided with supportive social services to ease the transition to civilian life.
