H.L. Burnett

Harvey L. Burnett was an employee of Dr. Phillips Charities for over 46 years, serving as an accounting clerk, purchasing agent and in property management.  He retired in 2017 as Vice President of Operations for Dr. Phillips, Inc. He maintained position as Secretary/Assistant Treasurer for both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc. Burnett serves as Director of both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc.

Burnett is currently a Board member and Secretary for the Committee of 100 of Orange County, he was an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando for many years and served as a Deacon and committee member at Delaney Street Baptist Church.  Another past post was as a Director at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center of Orlando, Director of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando Foundation and and a board and executive committee member for Orange County Public Schools Foundation.

In January 2003, Burnett received the Boys and Girls Club Volunteer of the Year Award.  He has also served on several Boys and Girls Club building committees for the renovation of existing clubs and the design of new facilities.

Burnett is a licensed real estate broker.  He attended Valencia College and took various courses at the University of Central Florida and Rollins College.
