H.L. Burnett

Harvey L. Burnett was an employee of Dr. Phillips Charities for over 46 years, serving as an accounting clerk, purchasing agent and in property management.  He retired in 2017 as Vice President of Operations for Dr. Phillips, Inc. and Secretary/Assistant Treasurer for both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc. where he oversaw delivery of all services, providing assistance and support in all areas of operation. Burnett serves as Director of both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc.

Burnett is currently a Board member and Secretary for the Committee of 100 of Orange County, member of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando, a Deacon at Delaney Street Baptist Church where he also serves on several committees.  Formerly, he was a Director M. D. Anderson Cancer Center of Orlando, Director of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando Foundation and and a board and executive committee member for Orange County Public Schools Foundation.

In January 2003, Burnett received the Boys and Girls Club Volunteer of the Year Award.  He has also served on several Boys and Girls Club building committees for the renovation of existing clubs and the design of new facilities.

Burnett is a licensed real estate broker.  He attended Valencia College and took various courses at the University of Central Florida and Rollins College.
